By connecting with us, you position yourself for opportunities that align with what you're looking for.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.Conduct regular EHS inspections and audits, identifying hazards and recommending corrective actions.Lead incident investigations for accidents and near-misses, determining root causes and implementing preventative measures.Deliver EHS training programs to employees on topics such as LOTO, confined space, and hazard communication.Maintain and update EHS recordkeeping, including permits, inspections, and training documentation.Manage hazardous waste programs, ensuring proper disposal and compliance with all regulations.Participate in the design and review of new equipment and processes to incorporate EHS considerations.Recommended QualificationsBachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related science/engineering field.3-5 years of EHS experience within a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations.Demonstrated experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and developing safety training programs.Ability to interpret and apply technical EHS standards and best practices.Bonus QualificationsExperience with ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 management systemsProficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) for EHS metricsProfessional certifications such as CSP, CIH, or CHMMFamiliarity with lean manufacturing principles and their application to EHSExperience with environmental permitting and reporting requirementsJob Titles That Should ApplyEnvironmental Health & Safety Specialist, EHS Specialist, Health and Safety Officer, Safety Coordinator, Environmental Specialist, Occupational Health and Safety Advisor, Workplace Safety Specialist, HSE Specialist, Safety and Environmental Compliance Officer, EHS CoordinatorWhy The Pivot Group NetworkThe Pivot Group Network was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
