Contract Software Engineer, Full Stack
Overview:
As a Software Engineer, Full Stack, you design and maintain full-stack applications and data services for our Sample Management and analytics platform. You'll deliver user-facing web experiences with a focus on UX, leveraging API and cloud services. You'll collaborate with engineering, product, and design to create scalable REST APIs and data pipelines that power insights. This role offers a chance to influence product direction, work with modern tech, and contribute to transformative healthcare data solutions. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architecture and product teams to shape system design
- Conduct code reviews and mentor developers on best practices
- Guide technical decisions and engineering vision for complex systems
- Define requirements with stakeholders and translate into scalable REST APIsDesign and maintain data pipelines and analytics services on Snowflake
Key requirements:
- 5+ years in software development, with strong web application experience
- Proficiency in TypeScript and Python (FastAPI)
- Experience building RESTful APIs and React frontend development
- Familiarity with Docker, AWS ECS (Fargate), and AWS CDKExperience with Snowflake, dbt, and relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
- Understanding of microservice architecture and CI/CD processes
