A Qnnect Company, we are ISO9001 certified and comply with DFAR and ITAR regulations.PacAero Agawam is seeking an experienced Quality Control Lead Inspector to support inspection activities within our aerospace manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for performing advanced inspection, supporting inspection workflow, maintaining inspection documentation, and helping ensure product meets all quality and customer requirements.This position serves as a senior inspection resource and works closely with the Quality Manager and inspection team to support daily inspection priorities, improve inspection flow, and maintain compliance with company and customer quality standards.This position is located in Agawam, MA and is onsite, full-time, and may require overtime based on business needs.Inspection & Product VerificationPerform visual inspection of product between production processes to ensure quality standards are metPerform dimensional inspection using hand inspection tools and Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) equipmentInspect product under microscope, including hermetic packages and precision componentsVerify product meets blueprint requirements, GD&T, and customer specificationsReview production documentation for accuracy, completeness, and complianceInspection Support & Workflow CoordinationSupport the Quality Manager and inspection team in coordinating inspection prioritiesHelp ensure inspection activities align with production schedulesAssist in identifying opportunities to improve inspection efficiency and flowServe as a technical resource to inspectors and production teamsDocumentation & Inspection PlanningCreate and maintain inspection plans and inspection documentationMaintain accurate organization and storage of inspection records in both electronic and physical formatsEnsure traceability and proper document control in accordance with company and aerospace requirementsUtilize document control systems and Microsoft Office toolsNonconforming Material & Continuous ImprovementProcess Non-Conforming Material Reports (NMR) and rework documentationWork with Quality Assurance to support root cause analysis and corrective actionsIdentify recurring defects and support improvement initiativesCollaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to improve product quality and production flowStandards & ComplianceBecome familiar with applicable industry standards, customer requirements, and internal proceduresUtilize standards to determine product acceptability and pass/fail criteriaEnsure compliance with ISO9001, AS9100, and customer requirementsWorkplace StandardsMaintain a clean and organized inspection areaFollow all company safety and quality proceduresSupport continuous improvement initiativesPerform other duties as assigned by Quality ManagerQualificationsMinimum 8 years of experience in Quality Inspection or Manufacturing in a precision manufacturing environmentStrong GD&T knowledge and blueprint reading skillsExperience performing inspection using hand inspection tools and CMM equipmentExperience performing microscope inspection of hermetic packages or similar precision componentsStrong attention to detailStrong organizational skillsAbility to work independentlyPreferred QualificationsPrior experience in a Lead Inspector or senior inspection roleFamiliarity with AS9100 and aerospace quality systemsExperience with document control systemsQC experience in environments such as electro-plating inspection, CNC machining inspection including burr inspection, feed-thru integration, and/or aerospace or medical device manufacturing.Skills & CompetenciesStrong inspection and quality verification skillsStrong problem-solving abilityExcellent attention to detailStrong communication skillsAbility to support and guide others technicallyWork Environment & Physical RequirementsThis position is based in a manufacturing and inspection environment and requires extended periods of microscope inspection.Frequent sitting, standing, and microscope workExtended visual concentrationAbility to lift up to 25 poundsOvertime and weekends may be requiredExpected CompensationThe anticipated pay range posted for this position represents PacAero (Litron, LLC)'s good-faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting and is based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills, certifications, internal equity, geographic market data, and current area compensation benchmarks.Actual compensation within this range will be determined in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and Company policy and will not be influenced by an applicant's race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristic.Benefits OverviewPacAero (Litron, LLC) offers a comprehensive benefits package for eligible full-time employees, which may include medical, dental, and vision coverage;
