Contractor – Contracting Advisor (Legal Contracts & Procurement)📍 Location: Malvern, PA (600 Chesterfield Parkway, Malvern, PA 19355)🕒 Duration: 6+ Months Contract (Possible Extension)💲 Pay Rate: $50- 70/hour🏢 Client: VanguardKey ResponsibilitiesReview, draft, and negotiate procurement and commercial contracts.Partner with the Office of General Counsel to ensure contract compliance and risk mitigation.Communicate contractual obligations, requirements, and risk exposures to business stakeholders in clear, practical terms.Identify and escalate areas of risk, including:Information SecurityPrivacy & Data ProtectionIntellectual PropertyFinancial & Insurance ExposureCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Privacy, Information Security, Insurance, and Procurement.Follow established contracting processes, procedures, and quality control standards.Support timely contract execution and maintain accurate documentation.Ensure contract language aligns with business requirements and organizational policies.Participate in special projects and other assigned duties.Required QualificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.) degree required.Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.3–5+ years of experience in a fast-paced commercial contracting environment.Proven experience negotiating and managing commercial contracts.Strong understanding of legal and commercial contract terms.Ability to independently lead contract negotiations.Exceptional analytical, drafting, and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work collaboratively with legal, procurement, and business teams.
