Shipping and Receiving Supervisor
Discover your exciting roleThe Shipping and Receiving Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all inbound and outbound logistics activities, ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient movement of materials. This role leads warehouse personnel, maintains inventory accuracy, and ensures compliance with company policies and safety standards.Explore Your Tasks And ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily shipping and receiving operations, including scheduling, staffing, and workflow coordinationEnsure accurate receipt, inspection, and documentation of incoming materialsOversee order picking, packing, and shipping to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfactionMaintain inventory accuracy through proper tracking, cycle counts, and system updatesCoordinate with purchasing, production, and customer service teams to align material flow with business needsEnforce compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and quality standardsTrain, coach, and evaluate warehouse staff to promote productivity and continuous improvementMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as shipping accuracy, on-time delivery, and inventory discrepanciesResolve issues related to damaged goods, shipment delays, or discrepanciesAssist in process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costsOther duties as assignedShow Your ExpertiseHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred3–5 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operationsPrior supervisory or team leadership experience requiredExperience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsWorking knowledge of inventory control and logistics processesForklift certification (or ability to obtain) preferredSkills & KnowledgeLeadership and team managementAttention to detail and accuracyTime management and prioritizationProcess improvement mindsetSafety awarenessApplicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.Non-Solicitation: We are not currently accepting third-party agency candidates for this position.
