CNC Repair Technician (2nd Shift)
Job Description
Client: OEM Tier SupplierShift: 2nd (3PM-11PM)Pay: $40/hr (1.5X Overtime Pay after 40 hrs/week)Benefits: 2 weeks PTO, 401k, Insurance, paid holidays, tuition assistanceJob SummaryThis position is responsible for CNC machine repair and recovery and includes responsibility for all mechanical activities for day-to-day operations.Duties & ResponsibilitiesBe able to lead a team and assign duties as necessary.Participate in Gemba walks to assist in process improvement.Report to the Maintenance Manager status on on-going projects and equipment.Answer breakdowns as a machine repairer.Follow policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.Complete preventative Maintenance tasks.Ensure the equipment operates in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of staff and visitorsSupport the Sr CNC Maintenance TechLead efforts in diagnosing system malfunctions and prescribes repairs or changes in work and design practicesRequired Skills & AbilitiesCan work with pumps, black pipe, and PVC.Competent in blueprints and schematicsExperience with FANUC controlsFamiliarity with electrical panels and control circuits preferredControls, PLC, HMI, or industrial ethernet knowledge is preferredAble to use and read tape measure, micrometers, calipers, and other measuring equipment (Standard and Metric)Able to lift 50lbsEducation & Experience2-5 years minimum of relevant manufacturing maintenance experience is requiredAdvanced technician training, completed related apprenticeship or a minimum of 2 years related experienceUnderstanding of drawings, schematics and troubleshootingPrevious CNC machining requiredExperience with precision machining assemblyNC programming experience a plus
