Processing Operator - Columbus, Indiana

Join the Tipton Mills Foods team as a Processing Associate! Processing Associates are Tipton team members who support Packagers and Leads in fulfilling customer commitments, and blends ingredients as needed. A Processor will work in a manner to avoid injury, meet all requirements for food safety and quality, and meet processing goals. This role is manual labor. Processing positions are available at entry level, mid-level and experienced packaging and machine operators. Monday – Friday 7:00a-3:30p Afternoon shift: Four 10's. Monday – Thursday 3:30p – 2:00a. Off Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Voluntary OT Second chance opportunities. Expected Duties: Product weighing Machine work e.g. Blending of product Cleaning machines (blender) and work area Tasks completed within acceptable time frame Exactness in product formulation Inventory management Minimal Data Entry Able to lift, push or pull 60 lbs. and stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the entire shift Able to stand 8-10 hours Compensation Entry Level wage: $15.00/hr. Increases with experience Afternoon shift differential +$1.00/hr = $16.00/hr. Bonus programs.
