Roles and Responsibilities: We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Reliability Test Technician to support the development and validation of autonomous robotic systems. This role involves executing system and component-level testing, documenting results, troubleshooting failures, and supporting engineering teams in improving product reliability and performance.The ideal candidate has experience working with mechanical, electrical, automotive, robotics, or mechatronics systems in a lab or testing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute reliability and validation testing for robotic and autonomous systemsDocument detailed test procedures, results, and observations for root cause analysisPerform hands-on testing of electronics, sensors, actuators, and mechanical assembliesOperate and maintain lab equipment including environmental chambers, vibration tables, and load framesSupport troubleshooting, debugging, and failure analysis activitiesWork with soldering, crimping, wiring, and cable management tasksMaintain an organized and safe test lab environmentCollaborate closely with engineers and cross-functional teams to improve system performanceSupport field testing and external test lab activities as requiredAssist with prototype assembly, modifications, and test setup preparationRequired Qualifications5+ years of hands-on technical experience in robotics, automotive, mechanical, electrical, or related industriesExperience reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical datasheetsFamiliarity with environmental and vibration testing equipmentExperience using lab tools, DAQ systems, sensors, instruments, and shop equipmentProficiency with soldering, crimping, and hardware assembly workExperience working with Linux-based systems for testing and integrationBasic CAD knowledge using tools such as SolidWorks or OnshapeStrong troubleshooting, organizational, and documentation skillsAbility to work onsite in a lab/warehouse environmentAbility to lift up to 40 lbsPreferred QualificationsExperience working with autonomous systems or robotic platformsBackground in hardware validation, reliability testing, or mechatronicsFamiliarity with prototype development and field testing environmentsCompunnel Inc. is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer committed to fostering an inclusive, diverse, and equitable workplace.
