Resistor Technician
The Resistor Technician adheres to Best Manufacturing Practices using product documentation, uses basic electronic measurement devices, typical manufacturing tools, assembly fixtures, and hand tools. This position is responsible for various operations during the process of Resistor fabrication including screening of metal paste on to various substrates, chemical etching substrates, spray tin oxide coating on substrates, and test and measurement of electrical and RF characteristics of substrates throughout the fabrication process.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Perform a variety of tests using Resistively Meters, OHM Meters, and Thermal Couplers and operate basic computer software, to ensure compliance to design specifications and drawing requirements.
Read and interprets assembly procedures, manuals, work orders and chemical processes to compare results to specifications.
Work directly with hot furnace and hot tools with appropriate protective gear
Handle chemicals, chemical procedures, safety procedures and HAZMAT procedures will apply.
Perform etching processes in a chemical lab environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School or Equivalent
Experience Years: 1-3 years
Experience Type: Machine Shop/Trade School

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Regularly required to sit, stand, talk, or hear
Must be able to climb up and down 3 steps to reach blast furnace
See clearly at close distances along with depth and distance perception
