This role is perfect for a proactive professional who holds a Property+Casualty Insurance license and thrives on building strong client relationships, ensuring policy accuracy, and contributing to account retention and growth. You will play a key role in supporting clients in either personal or commercial insurance, collaborating with internal teams to provide a seamless service experience.Provide superior service & serve as the point contact for our insuredsUnderwrite individual risk situations to ensure that they meet our agency standards and those of the insurance companies we representMake individual policy placement decisions based on the needs of the customer, our Agency and the Companies we representManage all account transactions including but not limited to endorsements, binders, cancellations & correspondence.Review policies for accuracy and completeness and updating agency management system in accordance with workflow proceduresSecure applications from Account Manager or Sales Executives for all coverages including price quotations and comparisons for the companies we representRequest loss runs, issue binders, ID cards, certificate of insurance & evidence of propertyTimely follow up on company/clients suspense/diariesKeep abreast of change in the insurance industryMaintain professional accreditationBuild favorable work relationshipsMaintain confidentialityQualifications 5+ years of Commercial Lines ExperienceNY State P&C Broker License requiredHigh level of organizational ability with attention to detailAbility to be part of a teamExperience w/rating, underwriting and procedural skillsExperience with AMS360 / Image RightAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.Total Rewards Package:Compensation: $47,500 - $52,500 based on experience, education, and work location.Benefits: Comprehensive package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) with match, Generous Paid Time Off (PTO), thirteen paid holidays, company-paid life insurance for you and your dependents, employee assistance fund and programs, wellness perks, and more!Employee Stock Ownership ProgramAs a 100% employee-owned company, Marshall+Sterling offers you the unique opportunity to build long-term wealth while growing your career.
