JOB SUMMARYThe ARC Graduate Intern is responsible for supervising evening student workers in the Residence Halls and during Supplemental Instruction (SI) sessions. The role includes overseeing the sign-in process and session reporting, providing tutoring assistance in areas of expertise, and managing the operations of the Academic Resource Center (ARC).DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESSupervise evening student workers in the Residence Halls and Supplemental Instruction sessionsMonitor completion of student sign-in and reporting of sessionsTutor in areas of expertise as neededAct as Supervisor of the ARC and maintain oversight of the tutors as well as the tuteesAnswer any questions or address any problems the tutors may haveCoordinate with Tutors in Residence workshop offerings in the residence hallsCheck the punctuality and attendance of the tutors and SI leadersEvaluate Tutors in Residence approximately mid-semesterAssist in the coordination and planning of tutor training sessionsAssist in coordination end-of-semester activitiesREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSCurrently pursuing a graduate degree at Seton Hall UniversityGood academic standingDemonstrated competency with detailed record-keepingIntermediate level skills with Microsoft 365Capable of supervising student workersMust have availability Sundays-Thursdays 5 pm-12 am (15 hours a week)DESIRED QUALIFICATIONSPrevious experience in tutoring or supplemental instructionSPECIAL INSTRUCTIONSNo tuition remission for this jobCONTACTARC@SHU.EDUFEDERAL WORK STUDY ELIGIBILITYNot RequiredSeton Hall University is committed to programs of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO).Advertised: 01 Apr 2026 Eastern Daylight TimeApplications close: 02 Oct 2026 Eastern Daylight Time
