Job Title: Temporary HR Generalist (Payroll & Billing Specialist)We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Generalist for a 3 to 6-month temporary assignment at our Fairburn, GA location. This role is critical in ensuring our payroll processes and temporary labor billing remain seamless during a team member's leave of absence.The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between HR operations and Finance, managing high-volume data reconciliation while maintaining a supportive presence for our workforce.Core ResponsibilitiesPayroll Administration: Execute ADP timecard corrections, manage approvals, and process historical payroll adjustments to ensure accuracy.Temp-Labor Reconciliation: Audit and reconcile weekly vendor invoices against recorded contractor hours; resolve discrepancies to ensure timely payments.Finance Partnership: Prepare reports for and participate in weekly finance meetings to review labor spend and billing status.People Operations: Facilitate new-hire orientations and serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding payroll and policy.Systems Support: Provide ongoing troubleshooting and administrative support within the payroll system (ADP).QualificationsExperience: 3–5 years of HR Generalist or Payroll experience (open to 2–4 years for highly motivated candidates with relevant system skills).Technical Skills: ADP experience is strongly preferred. Proficiency in Excel for billing reconciliation is essential.Industry: Manufacturing or plant-environment experience is a plus but not required.Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with both plant floor employees and corporate finance teams.Assignment DetailsTarget Start Date: Week of May 11, 2026 (Onboarding must be completed prior to the May 18 orientation week).Duration: 3–6 Months.Schedule: * Standard Weeks: Primarily part-time (flexible schedule) while existing team members are present.Coverage Weeks: Expect 4–5 days per week during specific peak periods.Location: Hybrid/Onsite. Candidates should be local to the Atlanta/Fairburn area.
