Architectural Designer

SCB is an award winning multi-disciplinary design firm with a national presence. We are looking for creative, passionate, and driven junior designers and technical staff to work on mixed-use multi-family, adaptive reuse, aviation, and higher education projects in our Chicago office.At SCB everyone touches the design. Our people come from a range of backgrounds, and we value the varied perspectives, experience, and expertise they bring to their work.Ideal candidates will exhibit a passion for design, show a willingness to work in a collaborative environment, and possess a basic to intermediate understanding of building materials, systems, details and construction techniques. You will have the opportunity to work with a team of talented and collaborative professionals on all aspects of project design and development under the direct supervision of a Senior Architect and/or Principal. You will also closely collaborate with the project team, including consultants, to prepare design studies, graphic representations, technical drawings, studies, and other materials related to architectural design.Interested candidate should have the following qualifications:Accredited professional degree in architecture0 – 5 years post-graduate, full-time working experience in an architectural firmGood communication skills and a team playerProficiency with Revit preferred.
