Job Description Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)Location: Federal WayState: WashingtonJob Type: ContractDuration: 42 WeeksSchedule: Monday – FridayShift Timing: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PMJob Summary:"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a qualified and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive speech and language services to students within a school setting. The Speech-Language Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders that may impact students’ educational performance, social interaction, and overall development.The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, and a commitment to supporting student achievement and success.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments related to speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disordersDevelop, implement, and maintain individualized treatment plans and therapy goals for studentsProvide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, special education staff, administrators, and families to support student progressParticipate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning and goal developmentMaintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation, reports, and therapy notesMonitor student progress and modify intervention strategies as appropriateEducate staff and families regarding communication disorders, treatment methods, and support strategiesSupport students utilizing augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems and devicesEnsure compliance with all district policies, state regulations, and federal special education requirementsMinimum Qualifications:Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program requiredActive Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist License requiredASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferredPrevious experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferredStrong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills requiredAbility to work effectively within a multidisciplinary educational environmentBenefits and Highlights:Competitive Compensation PackageStable Monday–Friday ScheduleSupportive and Collaborative Work EnvironmentOpportunity to Positively Impact Student Development and Academic SuccessProfessional Growth and Career Advancement OpportunitiesContact Information:For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.About Navitas Healthcare, LLC:Navitas Healthcare is a certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical, Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
