Revenue Contractor Location: Remote - Must reside in San Diego, CA, Minnetonka, MN, or Boston, MA (transition to hybrid if converted to full-time) Schedule: Standard Working Hours Duration: 3-Month Contract (Contract to Hire) Pay: $90 - 100/hr Our client is a leading biopharmaceutical company specializing in proprietary drug delivery technologies and the commercialization of innovative life science products. They are seeking an experienced Revenue Contractor to oversee all aspects of revenue management, with a strong focus on gross-to-net accounting, 3PL partnership integration, and cross-functional financial reporting. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Analyze and report revenue transactions including proprietary product sales, rebates, chargebacks, and returnsPerform monthly payments related to Managed Care, Medicaid, Tricare, and CGDO/MDP invoices based on invoice details from third-party providerReview commercial contracts with wholesalers and distributors to assess revenue implicationsCalculate and analyze GTN reserve accounts based on financial data collected from various sources, proposing corresponding adjustments and providing explanations for variances to budgetReview third-party provider reconciliation reports and GTN model for forecastingPrepare GTN month-end preliminary results presentation including overview of reserve performances, key adjustments, and concerns to share with Commercial and FP&ALead onboarding, integration, and ongoing management of third-party logistics (3PL) partnershipsLead revenue-related journal entries, reconciliation, and variance analyses during month-end closePerform AR aging reconciliation process and clear aging return debit memo issues, working directly with 3PL personnel and customersReview collections data and credit profiles, providing monthly updates to the Commercial teamOversee certain government payments, partnering directly with government contacts and Accounts Payable to coordinate, execute, and optimize the payment processAssist with external audits and internal reviews by providing documentation and analysis as requestedMaintain and enhance internal controls over revenue accounting processesPrepare various schedules to facilitate financial statement reports, budgeting/forecasting, and tax return preparationSupport system implementations as they relate to GTN accounting and AR transactions through 3PLsOther duties as assignedEducation and Experience Minimum four (4) year college-level accounting degree; CPA or CMA preferredEight (8+) years of experience in GTN accounting, preferably in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life science industryExperience with 3PLs is preferredAn equivalent combination of experience and education may be consideredKnowledge and Skills Strong understanding of pharmaceutical pricing, reimbursement, and regulatory frameworksStrong financial management and analytical skillsSolid problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to work both autonomously and cross-functionally with othersTakes initiative and is solutions-orientedExperience with general office information systems, Microsoft Office products, and accounting software or ERP systemsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, V-lookups, etc.)
