Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Make a meaningful impact supporting students across PreK–12 as a contract school psychologist for the upcoming academic year. In this role, you'll be part of a multidisciplinary team providing vital consultation, counseling, and crisis response services on-site throughout the district. The position runs full time from August 2026 through May 2027, offering an opportunity to work collaboratively with educators and families to address students' psychological and educational needs.Key Qualifications:Active NCDPI School Psychologist license (attach current documentation)Proven experience with ECATS documentation and processesExperience providing services in school-based settings, including psychoeducational evaluationsAbility to facilitate parent conferences and professional development for staffComfortable working with PreK–12 students and diverse communitiesStrong collaboration, communication, and organizational skillsCore Responsibilities:Deliver consultation, counseling, and crisis response for students across multiple campusesSupport schools in addressing mental health needs and developing student support plansLead and participate in staff training relating to psychological services, students with disabilities, and mental health awarenessConduct psychoeducational assessments for students suspected of having disabilitiesWork closely with teachers, parents, and school staff as part of a collaborative teamServe on district-level multidisciplinary teams and contribute to continuous improvement effortsTake on additional duties as assigned by the supervisorAll responsibilities performed on-site; remote work is not availableThis is a valuable chance to leverage your expertise, develop your practice, and make a lasting difference within a supportive school environment.
