Staff Therapist

Provide counseling services to VU students including: assessment, treatment planning, individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, direct and indirect psycho-educational programs, supervision of graduate level interns (if applicable), and psychological and organizational consultation. Major Responsibilities: Provide Individual Counseling. Provide Crisis Intervention. Provide Outreach and Educational Services to the campus community. Assess the needs of the student. Consulting with other staff members and community partners. Required Knowledge and Skills: Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or related field. Have 1-2 years experience providing direct therapeutic services to individuals in a college counseling center, mental health or psychiatric setting. Should be license eligible and able to obtain license within 3 years of employment. Additional Preferred Qualifications: To be able to perform other duties as assigned.
