Associate - Labor

BakerHostetler is seeking an enthusiastic midlevel Labor Associate with 4–6 years of experience to join our dynamic and nationally recognized Labor Group. This role is all about labor law (not employment law), and we are looking for candidates with experience.Qualifications Include4–6 years of dedicated management-side labor law experienceFirst-chair experience in grievance arbitration mattersDemonstrated ability to manage matters independently and lead proceedingsExperience practicing before the NLRB, with first-chair hearing experience preferredSpanish language skills preferredStrong writing skills; writing samples may be requestedIdeal Candidates Will Have Demonstrated ExperienceRepresenting clients in grievance arbitration hearings, and unfair labor practice proceedingsAdvising clients on union organizing campaignsSupporting collective bargaining negotiationsProviding management training on the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA)Collaborating with a national team of labor attorneys on complex mattersLocation:This position may be located in Chicago.SalaryThe expected annual salary range for this position is $285,000 - $345,000. The salary offered will be determined by a wide range of factors, including, but not limited to, experience level, education/training, and relevant skills. Associates also participate in a performance- and hours-based bonus program.
