We are seeking a passionate and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the planning and execution of menu items, ensuring freshness and quality of ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Monitor food inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and minimize waste.
Provide support in catering events or special functions as needed.
Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in food service or restaurant settings.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, including fine dining standards and dietary requirements.
Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Experience as a dietary aide or in catering is a plus but not required.
A passion for cooking and creativity in meal preparation is essential.
