Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM / 50-55 Hours per Week Pay Rate: $27.00 per Hour As a Mechanic, Your Main Responsibilities Will Include:Performing repairs, inspections, safety checks, and diagnosis of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on diesel vehicles. Utilizing vehicle computer electrical systems for interpreting failure modes and adjusting Engine and Vehicle Control modules. Responding to road calls for emergency repairs. Reviewing, completing, or assigning repairs noted in driver Vehicle Inspection Reports. Completing necessary documentation using fleet maintenance software programs. Conducting test drives of trucks after services and repairs. Assisting team members with repairs as necessary. Maintaining professional and courteous interactions with drivers. Ensuring cleanliness and safety in the work area as per corporate and OSHA standards. Performing other related job duties as assigned. We Are Looking For Candidates Who Have:Proficiency in diesel vehicle diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and repair. A basic tool set. A Class B CDL or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of starting the position. Hydraulic experience is a plus.
