Full Charge Bookkeeper

Job Description Full Charge BookkeeperPosition Summary:We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Full-Charge Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day financial operations of our busy auto body shop. This role is responsible for handling all accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting overall business operations.Key Responsibilities:Manage all accounts payable and accounts receivableReconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and shop management systemsPost and process insurance payments and customer paymentsMaintain accurate general ledger and financial recordsPrepare monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)Handle payroll processing and related reportingTrack and manage sales tax, filings, and complianceMonitor job costing, parts costs, and vendor invoicesWork closely with management on budgeting and financial planningAssist with audits and year-end reporting with CPAEnsure proper documentation and recordkeeping for all transactionsQualifications:3+ years of full-charge bookkeeping or accounting experienceExperience in an auto body shop or automotive industry preferredStrong knowledge of accounting principles and practicesProficiency in QuickBooks Online (or similar accounting software)Strong understanding of basic accounting principlesExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and teamwork skillsHigh level of professionalism and confidentialitySkills & Attributes:High attention to detail and accuracyStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentTrustworthy and able to handle confidential financial informationStrong communication skills and team collaborationAbout Us:Collision Care Xpress knows that automotive repair isn't just about fixing cars.
