Assistant Hotel General Manager
We're searching for an experienced assistant general manager to help our general manager plan and oversee the hotel's day-to-day operations. When the general manager is unavailable, you will be in charge of supervising personnel, dealing with client problems, and ensuring that our customers enjoy a 5-star experience. Responsibilities: • Verify that all local, state, and federal laws and regulations, as well as any business or brand-specific policies and procedures, are followed • Create the yearly hotel budget in collaboration with the general manager and department heads, and assess and adjust performance throughout the year to stay profitable • Deliver support to the human resources department to help them improve turnover management, employee motivation, and staff growth and retention • Recommend improvements that will improve the hotel profitability by analyzing department performance and identifying problem areas • Assist general manager in the day-to-day operation of the hotel in maintaining all standards of guest service Qualifications: • Have superb communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills • You must have 3 or more years of experience working in the hospitality field • Previous experience managing a team is required; preferably in a hospitality role such as department manager • A high school diploma or GED, and a bachelor's degree is required, preferably in hospitality management or a related field • Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience Compensation: 60,000 - 65000 yearlyCompensation: $60,000-$65,000 per year
