JOB SUMMARYThis position is responsible for material handling in warehouse environment and transporting, delivering, and picking up material safely and efficientlyResponsibilities Include:Driving delivery vehicles including but limited to a 26-foot Box Truck or pickup truckCrating, wrapping, banding material in preparation for shipmentReceiving and stocking inbound shipmentsPulling outbound shipment for transport or use in company facilitiesLoading materials on trucksSafely securing material to be transportedRepresent Armor's core values while interacting with external customers and vendorsAdditional tasks as assigned by managerPRINCIPAL CONTACTS INSIDE/OUTSIDE THE COMPANYThis position interacts with the shipping supervisor, warehouse supervisor, plant personnel, as well as external and internal customers on a daily basis.COMPETENCY OR POSITION REQUIREMENTSStrong communication skillsTime management skillsMaintaining a safe driving recordAll Armor employees are also expected to demonstrate Armor's core values of being:Customer FocusedPassionate about WorkSolution OrientedDriven by IntegrityEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCEHigh School Diploma or equivalentCDL requiredPrior delivery experience is preferredEQUIPMENT USEDThis position will be using company vehicles and a forklift.WORKING AND PHYSICAL CONDITIONS
