In 2021, Igloo was acquired by Dometic Brands and now there is the opportunity to Globally grow both brands together.We are on a journey of continuous growth - now looking for our next star - a passionate Coordinator - Dispatch.In this role, you will be involved in customer oriented dispatch operations in the distribution centers.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:Process, print, and sort shipping labels as needed.Key in tasks and print picking tickets and packing documents.Review orders for special instructions prior to issuing to loaders.Perform customer order dispatch operations.Maintain inventory of shipping labels and ribbonsMaintain shipping label printersInputs customer order data into ORACLE.Maintains customer pick-up transaction log.Requests inventory for customer orders for any balances. Tracks the receipt of said inventory.Communicate daily with Logistics Coordinators on problems with customer orders or carriers.Communicates with customer carriers to ensure orders are assigned appropriately.Works with carriers and customers daily on shortages and overages.Reviews BOL documents for completeness and accuracy.Must keep freight claims and shortage database up to date informing supervisor and the Credit Department on open freight claims with the dollar amounts collected or open amounts.Scanning shipping documents into the Oracle Imaging System.Must organize daily requirements and prioritize duties.Heavy phones and email.Must communicate with all levels of personnel within the company.Other duties as assigned.What do we offer?MedicalDentalVisionLife InsuranceShort term & Long-term disabilityAccidental death insuranceSupplemental life insuranceCompany paid holidaysFlexible Spending AccountsMinimum Requirements and QualificationsA suitable background would be a solid experience within the following qualifications and experiences:Education: High School Diploma or equivalency.Experience: One (1) year dispatch or equivalent warehouse experience.English language skills: Able to read, write, speak and comprehend English.Math skills: Able to add, subtract, multiple and divide. Able to use fractions and percentages.Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for 8 hrs. a day. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to operate in a high noise level environment for extended periods of time.Work environment: Warehouse is hot and humid in summer months, cold in winter months.Ability to operate a stand-up or man-lift/order picker forklift.To be successful in this role, we believe that you possess the following skills, competencies & characteristics:Ability to analyze and solve problems and work independently.Must have excellent attendance and complete quality work on time.Proficient in Excel, Word, Access.Previous experience using Oracle.Physical Demands & Conditions(Applicable to Igloo Operators, Technicians, Leaders, and Other Roles in Manufacturing)Standing & WalkingRoles may involve extended periods (up to 12 hours) of standing and walking, including moving at a brisk pace and occasional stair climbing.Postural RequirementsFrequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and working in low or awkward positions during production or maintenance tasks.Lifting & Material HandlingOperator-level roles may involve lifting up to 25 lb repeatedly throughout the shift.Technician-level roles may involve lifting up to 50 lb multiple times per day, including overhead lifts.Where possible, mechanical aids (e.g., hoists, forklifts) are used.Fine Motor Skills & Tool UseUse of both hands is required to operate tools, perform adjustments, and handle assembly materials with precision.Visual RequirementsSufficient visual acuity (e.g., 20/40 with or without correction) is necessary for tasks involving inspection and safe equipment operation.Environmental ConditionsWork is performed in a production/warehouse setting where seasonal temperatures may range from 100-120°F (with humidity) in summer to cooler conditions in winter.High noise levels are common; hearing protection is provided and required.Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as ear protection, safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, gloves, and protective clothing may be required depending on the task.Additional Job ConsiderationsThese roles can be physically demanding, involving repetitive motions and long hours.
