What We're Looking For
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders.Current state licensure in good standing (or eligibility) for Florida.ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 3 years of school-based SLP experience. Client requires at least three years of experience working in school settings and familiarity with school-based services and evaluation processes.Experience conducting Child Find evaluations, including preschool (PK) assessments and school-age evaluations.Experience developing IEPs and conducting assessments aligned with district, state, and federal guidelines.Ability to attend and participate in monthly diagnostician meetings for case review and problem solving.Valid state licensure for the state of practice. Florida licensure or eligibility preferred.Ability to maintain compliant documentation and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.Preferred: ASHA CCC-SLP.
Assignment Details
Facility Type: School.Position: SLP Diagnostician role focused primarily on Child Find for preschool (PK) with some school-age evaluations. Start date beginning 4/22.Required: Attendance at monthly diagnostician meetings to review cases and problem solve.

What You'll Do:
Provide speech and language evaluations and therapy in a school-based setting.Conduct Child Find preschool (PK) assessments and school-age evaluations as assigned.Develop IEPs, deliver goal-aligned therapy, and maintain compliant documentation.Collaborate with teachers, parents, school teams, and attend monthly diagnostician meetings.
