Concrete Patch Technician Job Description Compensation: Depends on Experience Wallcon is the contractor of choice for Arizona’s leading homebuilders. Our team takes great pride in the work we do and has a reputation for delivering a quality product and great customer service for some of the largest homebuilders in Arizona. Our ever-growing company is looking for a Concrete Patch Technician to join our Team. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Weekly hours vary and can include overtime and weekends. This position will be working out of our East Valley Location, with expectations to travel to jobsites around the valley. Successful candidate will possess a strong work ethic who is reliable and dependable. Overview of Duties Chip, scrape, and grind high spots, ridges, and rough projections to finish concrete Removes defective spots from concrete surfaces using power grinder or chisel and hammer and patches holes with fresh concrete or epoxy compound Cleans work areas, machines, and equipment to maintain a clean and safe job site Experience/Requirements Experience in construction preferred Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 50 pounds Must be able to stand, walk and use equipment for extended periods of time Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly Must be able to adhere to all safety requirements Must be able to work safety in all surroundings, and with team members Regular, timely, and predictable attendance is required for this position Perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions Ability to understand and follow directions with moderate supervision While working, the employee might be exposed to various chemicals, vapors, pollutants, gases, uneven surfaces, loud noises, moving vehicles or machines and dust/debris Benefits: We offer a full Benefit package to our employees including: Group Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Basic and Voluntary Life and AD&D Insurance Critical Illness/Accident Coverage Company Paid Holidays and Paid Time Off 401k with Company Match EOE/AA/M/F/D/V - Drug Free Environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $29.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
