Compensation$110,000-$130,000 annuallyGenomic Science Liaison I, HCT (Central region): Remote, USACentral region includes: Arkansas, Tennessee, Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi, and Southern IndianaJob OverviewThe GSL I role is responsible for ongoing client education and engagement regarding our clinical offerings, strategic initiatives, and the technology used at Ambry. The GSL I partners with the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to manage their territory and supports the sales team in new and existing client interactions. Additionally, the GSL1 may interface with internal departments, providing technical or clinical support as needed.Duties And ResponsibilitiesEngage clients in Ambry-centered clinical and technical conversation at scheduled meetings, on phone calls, over WebEx, or via email communication, and field case-specific questions from clients. Work closely with corresponding account manager(s) and RSM(s) to service clients and effectively manage a territory, traveling (roughly 50% of the time) throughout the territory to interact live with clients, prioritizing time with key strategic accountsDeliver meaningful presentations about the clinical utility of genetic testing and Ambry’s offered solutions to clients and prospective clientsIdentify and engage with local key opinion leaders, bringing feedback on use back to management, plan and execute local presentationsParticipate in miscellaneous GSL duties, including but not limited to: fielding client jabber calls, staffing Ambry booth at local and national tradeshows, SFDC entriesRecognize areas for improvement based on client interaction and voicing them back to management, including new test options, new gene inclusions/exclusions, training needs, marketing ideas, educational ideas, and overall improvement to the Ambry brandEducation And KnowledgeMaster’s degree or higher in genetic counseling, human genetics, or other healthcare fieldMS in genetic counseling preferred, board certification a plus Must have a strong understanding of the current state of clinical genetic testing, the advantages and limitations of genetic testing, and a desire to educate community providers about the utility of clinical genetics Must have strong organizational skills, work very well independently, be able to collaborate and communicate with clients and internal team members, and enjoy public speaking Experience And Technical CompetenciesAt least 2 years’ experience in a genetic testing laboratory or clinic site strongly preferredStrong working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeBasic knowledge of various lab techniques (i.e. NSG, Sanger sequencing, etc)PRIVACY NOTICESTo review Ambry’s Privacy Notice, Click here: https://www.ambrygen.com/legal/privacy-policyTo review the California privacy notice, click here: California Privacy Notice | Ambry GeneticsTo review the UKG privacy notice, click here: California Privacy Notice | UKGEqual Opportunity EmployerThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
