Collaborating closely with the radiology team, this position is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment, assisting with patient transport, clerical duties, and supply management.Key ResponsibilitiesUtilize TEAM principles (Teamwork, Empathy, Accountability, Messaging) when interacting with patients, visitors, and staff.Identify opportunities to enhance patient experience and participate in service improvement initiatives.Perform patient identification using two identifiers and verify with wristbands.Provide basic education to patients about examinations and refer questions appropriately to reduce anxiety.Assist with patient transfers and positioning following no-lift protocols.Prepare procedure rooms between cases and perform end-of-day cleaning tasks.Handle clerical duties including document collection and data generation for procedures.Support electronic image management, including importing and sharing images.Assist with communication between radiologists, providers, and technologists as needed.Restock procedure rooms and supply carts, manage waste disposal, and maintain emergency supplies inventory.Report defective equipment and maintain ongoing competency in role functions.Education and TrainingHigh school diploma or equivalent is required.
