Aluminum/Steel WelderLocation: Chester, PASalary/Rate: $18-24Responsibilities:Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding techniques and materialsPerform welding and fitting tasks using various methods such as FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and stick weldingUse hand tools, power tools, and machinery to fabricate and assemble metal componentsMeasure and inspect completed workpieces using precision instruments such as micrometersEnsure the quality and accuracy of welds by conducting visual inspections and performing necessary repairs or modificationsCollaborate with team members to plan and prioritize work ordersMaintain a clean and organized work areaRequirements:Proven experience as a welder/fitter or similar roleProficiency in blueprint reading and interpretationStrong knowledge of welding techniques, including FCAW and stick weldingFamiliarity with hand tools, power tools, and machining equipmentAbility to solder, weld, and fabricate sheet metal componentsExperience working with ductwork is highly desirableExcellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality workmanshipStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a teamNote: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
