Admissions Director

Avenue at Brooklyn -Progressive Quality Care is growing again with another brand-new, beautiful, hotel-like skilled nursing facility located in Brooklyn, Ohio. We are currently accepting resumes for an energetic and driven Admissions Director to help to open this pristine building. We need someone with a passion for long term care, who wants to help make the Avenue of Brooklyn a household name in the Brooklyn and greater Cleveland community.Qualifications:High School Graduate with additional training and or experience in long term care or recent college graduate looking to work in the long-term care industry.Responsibilities:Gather sufficient pre-admission data to determine resident level of care and the ability of the facility to properly care for the resident.Interview potential residents and resident's representatives to collect accurate data.Work closely with the business office to ensure insurance information is accurate.Assign room numbers to residents in consultation with the nursing department and administration.Greet and escort residents to their assigned units.Follow admission, transfer, and discharge policies and procedures.Keep resident's information accurate and confidential.Notify appropriate departments of admission.Explain facility philosophy, policies, and procedures to potential and new residents and their representatives.Complete admission paperwork with resident and/or resident's representatives.Work closely with the Director of Business Development and assist with marketing the facility to maintain an adequate census level.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
