We are committed to providing an environment where employees can grow professionally while contributing to meaningful and successful construction projects.Position SummaryThe Project Superintendent serves as the primary field leader responsible for directing day-to-day construction activities and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with project requirements. This role requires strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills while maintaining a commitment to quality craftsmanship and client satisfaction.The ideal candidate will effectively coordinate subcontractors, field personnel, clients, and Project Managers while maintaining a safe, productive, and professional jobsite environment. This position requires travel, as Springfield Builders performs work throughout a 21-state region.Key ResponsibilitiesDirect and oversee daily field construction operations from project start through completionCoordinate and schedule field employees, subcontractors, suppliers, and material deliveriesMaintain project schedules and communicate progress to Project Managers and company leadershipPromote and enforce job site safety for employees, subcontractors, and visitorsEnsure work is performed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and quality standardsRead, interpret, and implement construction drawings, specifications, and contract documentsPerform refined carpentry and miscellaneous installations as required as a working SuperintendentCoordinate temporary construction measures and site logisticsMaintain organized, clean, and professional jobsitesMonitor field productivity and assist in controlling project costsIdentify and solve daily construction challenges while minimizing project disruptionsCoordinate inspections and support project closeout activitiesBuild positive working relationships with clients, design professionals, subcontractors, and vendorsRepresent Springfield Builders with professionalism and integrity on every projectQualificationsMinimum of five (5) years of commercial construction Superintendent experience preferredProven track record of successfully managing commercial construction projectsStrong references and professional reputation within the construction industryExcellent organizational and leadership abilitiesAbility to work independently and make sound field decisionsStrong verbal and written communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and OutlookExperience with scheduling software such as Microsoft Project is preferredAbility to work in indoor and outdoor environments for extended periods of timeAbility to travel as required throughout SBI’s service regionCommitment to safety, quality, professionalism, and client satisfactionWork EnvironmentTypical working hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.Additional hours may be required based on project schedules and construction demandsWork is performed in active construction environments and outdoor conditionsFrequent standing, walking, climbing, and physical activity are requiredTravel is required depending on project locationCompensation and BenefitsSpringfield Builders offers competitive compensation based on qualifications and experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for long-term career growth.How To ApplyQualified candidates are encouraged to submit a resume and relevant experience for consideration.Springfield Builders, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.\nCompany DescriptionSpringfield Builders, Inc. is a Missouri Corporation founded in June of 1990.
