Marketing Specialist
Burr & Forman, an Am Law 200 firm with over 350 attorneys, seeks qualified candidates for their Marketing Specialist position in the Orlando, FL office. The position reports to the firm’s Director of Marketing.
OVERVIEW
The Marketing Specialist will work to enhance the firm’s visibility and ensure a consistent brand experience across Burr’s footprint. This position will manage all reputational initiatives and identify potential areas for brand building.
KEY CONTRIBUTIONS
Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop content (including press releases, videos, podcasts, etc.) that promotes our attorneys and enhances awareness of the firm’s work.
Partner with brand agency to maintain and evolve suite of branded templates.
Utilize templates to create both digital and print collateral and advertisements.
Execute Burr’s legal directory strategy, including development of submissions, referee coordination, deadline management, communications planning, and ROI assessment.
Coordinate award submissions and surveys to elevate our firm’s position in individual markets.
Partner with Marketing Assistant to manage promotional item assortment, fulfill special sourcing requests, and ensure the firm’s online store is well maintained.
Perform other duties as assigned.
THE ESSENTIALS
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or communications preferred. Work experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
5+ years of applicable marketing or agency experience. Prior law firm marketing experience or professional services industry experience preferred.
Ability to write clear and compelling content appropriate for both print and digital platforms; experience writing for professional services or B2B audience preferred.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects, balance competing priorities, and work efficiently under the pressure of meeting multiple deadlines with frequent interruptions.
Familiar with podcast or video production process, including recording and editing.
Experience with project management and email marketing platforms preferred.
Strong positive and energetic attitude, enthusiastic, approachable, and flexible.
