That’s why our teams are comprised of compassionate, dedicated professionals from a variety of backgrounds who collaborate to provide the very best evidence-based care for our clients at all levels of care.Position OverviewThe Behavioral Health Technician supports the residential and inpatient milieu by facilitating therapeutic activity groups, assisting clients in acquiring skills to manage their eating disorder, maintaining a recovery-oriented environment, and providing general support and assistance.ScheduleFull-time, 0.8 FTE (32 hours/week)2nd shift, 2p-10:30pRotating weekends and holidays requiredCompensation DisclosureBHT I: Starting hourly range between $18.00-22.00Final Compensation offered will be within pay range based on qualifications/experience met for the positionHow Behavior Health Technicians Empower RecoveryPartners with the multi-disciplinary team on care plan and treatment, assisting in admissions, supporting or assisting clients in programmingParticipates in therapeutic meals and snacks and provides support during structured outings and recreationAvailable to engage, challenge, and support residents as needed. Reports observations and documents in chartsMonitors and supports bathroom use per client treatment direction. Monitors and documents exercise.Responsible for enforcing appropriate policies with residents and completing all expected tasks including hourly room-checksQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentAssociate degree or higher or at least 2 years of healthcare experience in a similar position/ related field preferred.
