Work model: remote & travelling (approximately up to 50% travel required for this role).
DataWalk is a high‑tech software product company that brings the next level of technology to the world through a patent‑based hybrid graph analytical platform. Our system is used by US Departments, Intelligence Agencies, and top Fortune 500 companies to combat money laundering, fraud, human trafficking, terrorism or organized crime.
Senior Sales Director will individually drive DataWalk sales in the United States for US Federal Government accounts, focusing on advanced agencies in the public sector. The territory is the United States, where the individual will sell directly using a comprehensive sales skill‑set and DataWalk’s Integrated Account Management methodology.
The role requires strong organization, hard work, and teamwork, with expertise in generating new leads, delivering presentations, bidding, negotiating, contract management and closing. It is goal‑oriented and may require irregular hours and changing time zones. The ideal candidate works with marketing to supplement their own contact network.
Excellent opportunity for a tech‑sales professional experienced in selling software and analytics (preferably fraud/crime/AML/KYC/CTF). The candidate must discuss functional aspects of the DataWalk platform, provide basic demos, and demonstrate domain knowledge.
Responsibilities
Plan, organize, lead sales growth, penetrate new and existing customers, and maintain customer satisfaction on a long‑term basis.
Develop and maintain account plans and execute sales strategies.
Demonstrate advanced knowledge and practice in managing procurement and contracting processes.
Build and maintain a pipeline of business opportunities, both for new and existing customers.
Submit accurate and detailed sales forecasts.
Provide quotes and present proposals to customers and engage in virtual and face‑to‑face meetings with key prospects, customers, and partners.
Maintain knowledge and practical working proficiency in the DataWalk product. Practical knowledge and understanding of the target market’s pain points in analytics.
Validate and qualify leads.
Understand and utilize DataWalk’s sales processes (Integrated Account Management), including the ability to identify and request relevant support from pre‑sales, engineering, marketing, and senior management in a timely manner.
Exemplify professionalism and work to become a trusted advisor to customers and partners.
Requirements
Minimum of 8 years of proven work experience and successes in sales, pre‑sales, or other sales‑related activities in software products.
Own network of contacts in the given market (North America, public sector with a focus on the US Federal Government market).
Tech‑sale competencies, including selling software to architects and IT (leveraging and coordinating DataWalk’s experts).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Very good interpersonal and organizational skills.
Detail‑oriented with excellent follow‑up skills.
Excellent presentation skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of an integrated account management team.
Experience with sales techniques and tools, including the ability to execute complex, sales processes while addressing multiple stakeholders.
Good and credible references are required.
Nice to have
Graph analytics and/or GenAI, and/or investigative software experience.
Technical background and education.
Bachelor’s degree.
