About the RoleWe are seeking a hands-on Embedded Engineer with strong robotics experience to join a fast-moving R&D team. This role focuses on building and optimizing real-world robotic systems, with an emphasis on ROS-based development, modern C++, and hardware interaction.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and enhance ROS-based applications using C++ and Python on Linux systemsDesign and implement scalable, production-ready software systemsWork hands-on with robots to test, debug, and optimize system performanceAnalyze issues related to reliability, latency, and system behaviorIntegrate and work with hardware components such as motors, sensors, LiDAR, cameras, and encodersContribute to system design, architecture, and code reviewsCollaborate with cross-functional teams across R&D, manufacturing, and deploymentCreate test plans and perform validation on live robotic systemsMentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices and development standardsParticipate in field trials and product deploymentsRequired Skills & Experience8+ years of experience in embedded systems / robotics software developmentStrong hands-on experience with ROS (Robot Operating System)Expertise in Modern C++ (C++11 and above) and PythonStrong experience developing on Linux systemsExperience designing systems from scratch, not just maintaining existing codeHands-on experience with robotics hardware and sensor integrationStrong understanding of motor control, PID algorithms, localization, and navigationExperience with communication protocols such as CAN, CANOpen, TCP/IP, SPIProven ability to troubleshoot and optimize real-world robotic systems
