Class A CDL Driver

Our company is growing rapidly, and we are seeking an experienced Class A CDL Driver Dedicated in our Leominster, MA location. The Driver will serve to support our transportation and logistics department in a safe and timely manner.Make sure to read the full description below, and please apply immediately if you are confident you meet all the requirements.Responsibilities: (include, but are not limited to)Transport finished goods and or raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centersInspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenanceDocument and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receiptsComply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and proceduresManeuver trucks into loading or unloading positionsCollect and verify delivery instructionsReport defects, accidents or violations immediatelyRequirements:At least 21 years of age.Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL - A).At least 1 year of driving CDL experience.Meet PTG's MVR and risk rating qualifications.Lift and move products and pallets which may weigh up to 75 pounds.No more than 2 Moving Violations in the past 3 years.No DUIs in the past 5 years.Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, XRS, etc.).The position offers:LOCAL Dedicated HOURLY PAY: $23.25 Per Hour Starting pay + Overtime after 40 hours.Brand new TractorsNo Slip seating.AutomaticOvertimeSafety Bonus PayClean DOT inspection bonus $150-$50 depending on level of inspection.Monday thru Friday Work WeekNO WEEKENDSHome Daily & Layovers availablePerform Local and Regional DeliveriesThis position calls for an agile, independent, and energetic individual eager to contribute to the growth of our company in the drive towards operational excellence.
