We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial solar and energy projects across the Los Angeles market, with full ownership of project execution from preconstruction through Permission to Operate.This is a high-impact, end-to-end delivery role requiring direct engagement with utilities, jurisdictions, and field teams across multiple concurrent projects. You will interface regularly with LADWP and Southern California Edison, manage permitting and interconnection processes, and drive execution independently without the need for close oversight. This role is best suited for a seasoned solar or electrical construction professional who is comfortable removing bottlenecks, making decisions in the field, and delivering complex projects on schedule.ResponsibilitiesManage commercial solar and energy projects through every phase from preconstruction through Permission to OperateLead all permitting, inspection, and utility interconnection processes from initiation through approvalInterface directly with LADWP, Southern California Edison, and local jurisdictions on technical and procedural mattersOversee field crews, subcontractors, and project schedules across a portfolio of concurrent active projectsReview and interpret electrical drawings, construction plans, and project specificationsMaintain full ownership of project timelines, budgets, and day-to-day execution decisionsProactively identify and resolve technical, operational, and regulatory challenges before they affect project outcomesMaintain thorough, accurate project documentation and deliver consistent reporting to internal leadershipEnsure all projects meet applicable safety, quality, and regulatory compliance standards throughout executionRequirements7+ years of experience in project management within solar, renewable energy, or electrical constructionDirect experience managing commercial and industrial solar or energy projects required — residential-only backgrounds will not be consideredStrong working knowledge of LADWP, SCE, and utility interconnection processes and requirementsProven ability to manage complex projects end-to-end with minimal oversight and full accountabilityHands-on experience with permitting, inspections, and utility coordination across California jurisdictionsAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings and construction documentsDemonstrated experience managing field teams and multiple concurrent projects simultaneouslyBackground in solar EPC, electrical contracting, or energy infrastructure preferredBenefitsCompetitive salary commensurate with experienceHealth insurance and benefits packageRetirement plan optionsPaid time offOpportunity to lead high-impact commercial renewable energy projects in one of the country's most active solar markets
