We enjoy spirited debate, crazy ideas, and shipping code.About The RoleWe’re hiring Associate Field Engineers to own the first-mile experience for customers adopting Cursor. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, repeatable onboarding sessions — from Cursor 101s to foundational demos — that help teams quickly understand and realize value.You’ll partner closely with Field Engineers as an overlay on enterprise and strategic accounts. While they focus on deep technical strategy and complex engagements, you’ll specialize in activation: running crisp, engaging sessions that drive early adoption and set the foundation for deeper work.We’re in-person with offices in San Francisco and New York, and value tight collaboration across GTM, Product, and Engineering.What You’ll DoLead Cursor 101s, live demos, and onboarding sessions for prospective and existing customersDeliver clear, structured, and engaging walkthroughs tailored to different stacks and use casesContinuously refine demo flows and onboarding materials to improve quality and consistencyPartner with Field Engineers to support enterprise accounts and provide clean handoffs for deeper technical workRun onboarding refreshers and “what’s new” sessions to expand adoption post-saleTrack onboarding effectiveness and identify patterns that improve activation and engagementYou may be a fit ifYou have 2–4 years of experience in solutions engineering, technical enablement, developer support, or similar rolesYou are a strong presenter, confident running live demos and explaining technical concepts clearlyYou are technically fluent in developer workflows. Familiarity with AI tools is a plus.You are highly reliable, well-prepared, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.You are coachable and collaborative, with good judgment on when to escalate or go deeper.You are motivated by helping users get to value quickly and driving real product adoption.Our mission is to automate coding.
