Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.This opportunity is for a full-time Special Education Teacher position based in Worcester, MA, with an immediate start and a contract through June 17, 2026. This role focuses on supporting a 3rd grade inclusion classroom, serving a caseload of approximately 10-15 students. The position involves close collaboration with another Special Education Teacher to provide tailored, inclusive educational experiences that meet each student's unique needs.Responsibilities include:Designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.Delivering instruction in an inclusive classroom setting alongside general education staff.Monitoring student progress and adjusting strategies to ensure positive academic and social outcomes.Collaborating with educators, specialists, and families to foster a supportive and engaging learning environment.Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to student performance and development.Qualifications and experience:Valid Massachusetts Special Education Teaching Certification.Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students who have a range of learning, behavioral, and developmental needs.Strong collaboration and communication skills to partner productively with team members and families.Commitment to fostering inclusive education and supporting student growth.Benefits of this position include access to ProCare benefits, comprehensive insurance coverage featuring medical, dental, vision, and life plans, a matching 401(k) program, flexible spending accounts, and weekly pay cycles.
