Drywaller / Painter

Job Description We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Drywaller/Painter to join our construction and renovation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and finishing drywall surfaces, as well as preparing and painting interior and exterior walls and surfaces to a high standard. This role requires a strong work ethic, craftsmanship, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.Drywall Duties:Measure, cut, and install drywall panels to fit specific wall and ceiling spacesTape, mud, and sand joints, seams, and corners to create a smooth surfaceRepair existing drywall, including patching holes, cracks, and other damageEnsure surfaces are properly prepared before painting or finishingInstall metal or wood backing for drywall support when neededPainting Duties:Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, and patchingApply primer, paint, and finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipmentMatch and mix paint colors as neededProtect nearby surfaces with drop cloths and masking tapeMaintain a clean and organized work environmentCompany Description Cress Kitchen & Bath is a full service remodeling firm specializing in kitchen, bath, basements, fireplaces, stair railing, etc.Would be brought on as a sub-contractor with the possibility of full-time employment after a probationary period.Full benefits provided once earning a full-time employee position.
