Duties: The primary responsibilities of a Jersey Mike’s Shift Lead are commitment to our company goals: Preparing food that meets Jersey Mike’s specifications and high quality standards Service that is noticeably cleaner than other restaurants Helping to lead operational excellence and the guest experience Running shifts Prep/Identification of needs Training, coaching and providing performance feedback to motivate and improve all employees Responding positively and quickly to customer concerns and correct problems before they affect the brand Helping to control cost of sales through inventory management, tracking, effective ordering and control of waste and loss each shift Strong commitment to company goals Quality of service Customer satisfaction Team building/player Qualifications/Requirement: Must be able to work rotating day (7a-3p) / evening shifts (3-10p) and weekends Must be 18 years of age or older. High school diploma or GED preferred Prefer 1 years of experience in a leadership position Food Service experience preferred Strong customer service skills Team player Honesty and integrity Strong communication and interpersonal skills Must be able to properly lift, pull and push up to 40lbs Self-motivated, service-oriented, outgoing, and friendly Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Must be able to work 35-40 hours per week including weekends and Holidays Ability to stand for long periods of time Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills Must have reliable transportation Must be authorized to work in the US Jersey Mike’s restaurants are independently owned and operated franchise locations. Franchisees are independent business owners who set their own wage and benefit programs, which can vary between franchisees.
