Join Our clients Team as a (Pit) Technician 14.00 - 15.00 an hour Role and Responsibilities: Become an integral part of our team as a (Pit) Technician, contributing to the smooth operations of our shop. Working closely with the Hood Technician, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring each vehicle receives exceptional service. Reporting to the Floor Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include: Collaborating with the Hood Technician to perform oil changes and other necessary services on vehicles. Delivering clear and effective oral communication, even amidst the shop's dynamic environment. Providing relevant technical information to assist the Hood Technician in communicating with customers. Demonstrating physical dexterity for efficient task execution. Possessing a valid Driver's License. Upholding the company's policies and procedures to ensure customer safety and satisfaction. Conducting quality checks according to established procedures. Performing requested service work with adherence to quality and efficiency standards. Inspecting and maintaining fluid levels in differentials, transfer cases, and manual transmissions. Identifying and reporting fluid leaks or vehicle damage to appropriate team members. Maintaining a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Participating in shop meetings and training sessions to enhance technical competence. Adhering to ethical standards and fostering a respectful work environment. Collaborating with colleagues to enhance knowledge and contribute to team growth. Qualifications: Strong oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in a noisy environment. Physical ability for manual tasks and dexterity. Valid Driver's License. Commitment to upholding integrity, ethics, and accountability. Exceptional teamwork and collaboration skills. Ability to maintain a neat and professional appearance.
