VP, Commercial Banker
Description:
Makes and services a wide variety of business and individual loans (both secured and unsecured) personally or in conjunction with other Officers in the Jackson, Bartholomew, Johnson, Jennings, Monroe, Decatur and Lawrence County markets. Solicits, develops, and manages credit relations with customers. Makes and services a wide variety of commercial, real estate, lines of credit, commercial and industrial (C+I), construction and project lines of credit loans. Makes personal contacts with present and prospective customers to retain and expand existing banking relationships and solicits new business from non-customers. Supports the Bank’s non-lending commercial services function by prospecting, sales, and incidental servicing of commercial customers. Provides advice and guidance to Commercial Bankers (lenders) engaged in Treasury Management sales activities.
Requirements:

Knowledge of the Bank’s commercial and retail deposit and loan products and services
Knowledge of pricing and financial issues that impact the pricing of various Bank products and services
Knowledge of Bank commercial and retail loan operations policies and procedures
Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding loan operations including but not limited to UCC filings
Supervision experience
Ability to effectively delegate

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND/OR EXPERIENCE
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Economics from an accredited college or university preferred
Three years’ experience in authoring commercial loans preferred
Commercial Banking education, training or certification preferred
