The Line Cook will prepare and cook menu items according to company recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines. Responsibilities include setting up and breaking down stations, stocking and rotating ingredients, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen. The person in this role will follow food safety and sanitation standards, assist with prep work, and coordinate timing with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth service. The Line Cook will also communicate clearly with the culinary team, support inventory and waste control, and adapt to changing business needs during service.Qualifications Experience with basic cooking techniques, knife skills, and operating standard kitchen equipment.Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and safe food handling procedures.Ability to follow recipes, portion guidelines, and plating standards consistently.Strong time management skills and comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset when working with kitchen and front-of-house teams.Reliability in attendance, punctuality, and adherence to assigned schedules.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.Prior line cook or kitchen experience preferred; culinary training or certification is a plus.Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, or move items as needed for kitchen operations.
