About the job Chemical Technician / Lab AssistantBEYOND International Inc. is seeking a Lab Assistant / Chemical Technician to join our Chemical & Quality Department.This role is primarily focused on Quality Control and laboratory support, with opportunities to assist in R&D-related activities as experience grows.Key ResponsibilitiesPrimary Responsibilities (QC / Lab / Production - ~70%)Prepare samples for Quality Control testingComplete and maintain testing records, SOPs, test reports, and related documentationInspect and track the stability of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished productsMaintain laboratory and production instruments, including routine checks and basic maintenanceSupport raw material inventory management and monthly usage trackingWork safely and maintain a clean work area in accordance with standard lab and production practicesSecondary Responsibilities (R&D Support - ~30%)Assist the Lead Chemist and Chemical Engineer with new product research and developmentSupport R&D sample preparation and stability trackingConduct basic literature searches independently or as instructedCommunicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors as needed QualificationsRequiredLegal authorization to work in the United StatesMinimum 1 year of chemical or laboratory-related experienceAbility to reliably commute to Sugar Land, TX 77478Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)PreferredDegree in Chemistry or a related fieldFamiliarity with ISO 13485 concepts (training will be provided)Experience in a production or laboratory environmentTeam-oriented, self-motivated, and flexibleAbility to perform basic literature research independently Job DetailsJob Type: Full-time, on-siteSchedule: 8-hour shiftPay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour (based on experience)Work Location: Sugar Land, TX BenefitsHealth insurancePaid time off (PTO)
