Work on Public Impact Projects that directly serve local communitiesGrowth & StabilityAbout Our ClientOur client is a DC-based general contractor that has been building and renovating public spaces for over 15 years with a strong focus on K-12 schools, parks, and government facilities.Job DescriptionAs a Project Manager, You'll oversee a diverse portfolio of projects including school renovations, parks and recreation upgrades, and municipal facility improvements. Most work is concentrated in DC and Maryland, with a strong client base in public agencies. The ideal candidate brings technical expertise, strong communication skills, and a team-first mindset.Key ResponsibilitiesManage all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.Coordinate with clients, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery.Lead field operations and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and performance standards.Oversee self-performed trades including drywall, masonry, carpentry, and specialty finishes.Maintain accurate documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
