Construction Superintendent

Job Description Position is for a Superintendent with Thomas Constructors. A General Contractor in the Nashville, TN and Huntsville, AL Markets​Position Details:TC is looking for a candidate that shares the values imbodied in our mission statement. "Impact the world by creating exceptional environments and lasting relationships that value people at every level; putting God, Family, and community first."Responsibilities:Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementationAllocate resources for assigned projectsSupervise onsite personnel and subcontractorsInterface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clientsMaintain and update the project scheduleResponsibility to keep the jobsite clean and safeMaintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specificationsWillingness to work hard and even non-business hours if the project requiresCurrently this position will not travel. Will currently stay local to the middle Tennessee area.Qualifications:Must have at least 5 years of commercial construction superintendent experience in both ground-up and interior finish-out/renovationMust been a good communicatorMust be willing to be trained/mentored for a period of timeStrong leadership qualitiesStrong negotiation skillsDeadline and detail-orientedWhile we appreciate the interest of all candidates, we will only reply to those we would like to schedule an interview with.
