In this role, you can expect some or all the following duties:Prepare and analyze financial statements according to GAAP guidelinesReconcile and ensure the accuracy of general ledger entriesPerform all medical billing functions from invoicing through collections.Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable, including payroll and benefit allocationsAssist with monthly, year-end, and external audit activitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial management initiativesPerform general cost accounting, guide junior team members, and other related duties in the accounting departmentOther duties as assignedRequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA certification preferred)In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Experience with benefits, payroll, receivables, collections, taxes, and payables in a management-corporate environmentExperience With General Ledger Functions And The Month-end/year-end CloseDeep experience with accounting software (with QuickBooks experience preferred as we scale)Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, combined with other skills in technology and electronicsExcellent analytical skills with attention to accurate detail under deadlinesExcellent collaboration abilities with a team mindset prioritizing interpersonal communication, discretion, and exceptional judgmentSense of warmth, welcome, and professionalismBenefitsWhen working in a role with Caring for Family of Companies, you’re responsible for upholding and supporting our mission.
