Client Coordinator - Lawrence Healthcare Department: Clinical Direct Report: Clinical Director Job Type: 5:00pm-10:00pm, every other weekend, Part-Time About the Role: The Client Coordinator is an integral member of the treatment and administrative team, assuring smooth daily operations of the residential treatment facility Under the immediate supervision of the Clinical Director, the Client Coordinator maintains the smooth and proper functioning of the acceptance, maintenance and care of clients’ needs from the onset of admission throughout a client’s stay and discharge. Ability to follow directives explicitly, intrinsic motivation, client-driven service disposition, excellent time management skills, team approach, with advanced computer skills. Scheduling flexibility is REQUIRED to accommodate client admissions. Reliable transportation is required- Must provide valid driver’s license and good driving record suitable for insurance approval. Key Responsibilities: Maintains adherence to HIPAA compliance in ALL communication regarding clients in treatment. Meets with clients upon admission and completes appropriate intake documentation. Ensure the new client gets to each area for proper intake process. Maintains confidential files and materials as directed, maintains professional boundaries. Working knowledge of JACHO and CARF accreditation standards. Check documentation for any intakes that were completed the night before and ensure they are correct. Upload all intake documents into Azzly Upload any insurance documentation received. Check to see how many intakes are scheduled for the day. Coordinate with BHT Manager & DON about any room changes to accommodate the intakes. Start assigning therapists, case manager, counselors, room numbers, phone times, and teams to each new client. Schedule all intake assessments accordingly as the clients come in. Schedule any therapy sessions that need to be completed. Complete the 24-hour required documentation checklist Make yourself seen in the milieu and check on new intakes. try to do this as often as you can. follow up calls for clients who have graduated and do the post-graduation questionnaire with them. Cultural sensitivity and ethical attention to all clients. Understanding and implementation of professional boundaries and client confidentiality. Professional appearance, both in-person and via telephone with team-centered demeanor. Assist the Senior Case Manager in all aspects of the client’s discharge planning if needed. Assist the Clinical Director in facilitation of client programming as needed. Assist the Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) Manager with daily operations as needed.
