Hiring: Operations Engineer – Linux/Shell Scripting | Spartanburg, SCWe're looking for an experienced Operations Engineer with strong Linux Administration, Shell Scripting, Oracle Database, and Production Support expertise to support high-availability enterprise environments within the Retail and Supply Chain ecosystem.Location: Spartanburg, SCDuration: 6 Months (Possibility of Extension)Work Authorization: USC & GC Candidates OnlyKey Responsibilities & Skills:• Strong hands-on experience with Linux Administration and enterprise production troubleshooting• Diagnose and resolve OS, process, service, performance, and application-related issues• Strong experience with Shell/Bash scripting and automation to improve operational efficiency• Hands-on Oracle SQL and database troubleshooting experience, including performance analysis• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, VLANs, subnets, DNS, routing, and connectivity troubleshooting• Experience troubleshooting issues across Linux, application, database, and network layers• Handle production incidents, incident triaging, monitoring, troubleshooting, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)• Experience working in high-availability production environments• Ability to investigate complex technical issues, identify root causes, and drive issues through resolution• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, database, and business teams to resolve production issues• Ability to quickly learn and support new enterprise applications and technologiesPreferred Experience:• Experience working in Retail, Supply Chain, Warehouse, or Distribution environments• Enterprise Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience• Manhattan WMS experience is strongly preferred• Strong Incident Management experience in high-availability environmentsWhat We're Looking For:A highly analytical and hands-on Operations Engineer who can independently troubleshoot complex production issues across Linux, applications, databases, and network layers while driving incidents through resolution in a high-availability environment.Interested?
